7 ASCSU Plenary SF State Rep: Martin Linder  LAO (Legislative Analysts Office) Presentation (2008 data)  Teach a very high percentage of high cost students as indicated by Pell Grants  Incredibly efficient as indicated by our spending per student/outcome  California and Florida spend the least for public higher education  Ivy League institutions combined serve half the total number of low-income students then CSU Northridge

9 ASCSU Plenary SF State Rep: Martin Linder  Eric Forbes, CO Director of Enrollment Management Services  The Early Start  Implementation plans are due this month  Implementation Fall 2012  John Travis, CFA Liaison  Bargaining team was surprised at the number and intensity of “take-away” proposals  They would like more latitude in layoff procedures and evaluation of faculty  CFA opposes the proposed student fee increases.
