o We r eorganized existing Bureaus along functional lines: o Licensing and Enforcement o Inspection and Incident Response o Scientific Evaluation and Technical Assistance o Agricultural Environmental Laboratories Combining Functions

 Offer a safe, convenient and cost effective mechanism for agricultural operations, golf courses and pest control companies to properly dispose of canceled, suspended and unusable pesticides (CSUP).

 In 2000, the Florida Legislature appropriated $300,000 and authorized the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to implement a program to collect and dispose of CSUP.  Program continued through 2010  2011 – 2013 Legislature did not appropriate funding.  2014 Legislature appropriated $100,000 through June 30, 2015.

 Contract signed 10/30/2014  First Round of Pickups began 12/15/2014  Approximately 230 participants on first list.  First list was completed in February  Total of 111,211 lbs picked up and $100,000 funding used.
