MISSION The mission of AISJ is to ensure that all of our students are inspired life-long learners, motivated global contributors, and empowered seekers of personal fulfillment.
Common Language in our Strategic Plan Objectives are where we want to be in seven years. Strategies are the tools we have identified to help us get there Results are the sets of one-year chunks of work that achieve the objectives
Strategic Objectives: In seven years…In seven years… –All students will meet academic standards consistent with the mission. –All students will willingly and enthusiastically initiate, engage in, reflect upon and share learning that sparks their curiosity and inspires further exploration. –All students will willingly and continually choose to improve the quality of community. –All students will purposefully seek, choose and journey towards what they feel passionate about.

1. Curriculum Review Process 1. Curriculum Review Process (CRP): The driving force in student learning and our major focus
Picking up on last year’s curriculum review. Math projects related to the revised standards are implemented in Middle and elementary schools Technology projects and standards are mapped into curriculum documents in each division
Two more curriculum areas begin to go through the CRP Social Studies curriculum standards are reviewed school wide and Information Literacy standards and Social Emotional standards are integrated where appropriate Physical Education and Health curriculum standards are reviewed school wide and Information Literacy standards and Social Emotional standards are integrated where appropriate
2. Measurement Student performance data is collected, analyzed, communicated and used
3. School Culture RESPECT The AISJ community understands and demonstrates a common definition of respect, in all school related interactions. And Systems and structures exist that foster a sense of mutual trust and respect. COMMUNICATION Effective communication at AISJ supports our strategic objectives and mission and is the responsibility of all community members.

Synergy This year we are integrating the strategies instead of separating them.
Pioneers At least five faculty members are trained in Service, Learning.
