Making Earmuffs For Ms Morrissey HELP I’M GOING DEAF AHHHHHH! HAVE NO FEAR TALISA,LISELI,ARBNOR,MOJTABA, AFOLABI IS HERE

The equipment for the super scientists Data loggers!!! Materials We’ve gotta make it a fair test!

What we used Bubble wrap Bubble wrap Polystyrene Polystyrene Cotton wool Cotton wool Plan investigation sheet Plan investigation sheet Data logger Data logger Sound source (shaker) Sound source (shaker) Ruler Ruler scissors scissors

What the super scientists did 1.We had to make the material the same size. 2.We had to be careful Of the back ground noise So we went to the waterloo room. 3.We then tested the materials and here are the results

results

What we learned We learned that cotton wool is the best material for ear muffs because there is air in it. The worst materiel was Polystyrene because it has holes in it so the vibration flow through. The second best material is bubble rap because the vibrations get stuck in the holes.

What we would do different Never do an experiment with a background noise or else it will interrupt the sound experiment. Never do an experiment with a background noise or else it will interrupt the sound experiment. Furthermore never swap the person who started the experiment because every body has different strengths.
