Name of your endangered species Name Period Date Make this slide look as interesting as possible

Where does your species live? What type of biome does your plant/animal live in? Describe its habitat. Show a picture of where your plant/animal lives on a map. What countries would you have to visit if you wanted to see your plant/animal in the wild? Show another picture of what the habitat looks like

Tell us about your species What does it eat/what eats it? Show a picture of your species eating or being eaten. Does your species have a collective noun (animals)? Are they solitary or social (animals)? Show a picture of your animal in its social setting (herds, alone, packs… however it lives)(animals only)

Reproduction Discuss the reproductive statistics regarding your species: how often can it produce offspring, how many can it reproduce at one time? Show us a picture of a baby (or still-growing plant) of your species. Go for Cuteness. I want to say, “Awwwww…” DO NOT SHOW ME A PICTURE OF YOUR SPECIES MATING!

Make a Food Chain that includes your species Get pictures of each plant/animal that is a part of your species’ food chain. Be sure to have your arrows showing how the energy flows in the chain. There are arrows in Clip Art.

Why is your species endangered? Explain in detail what are the causes of your species’ being endangered. Add a picture that represents each cause.

What is the current situation of your species? Numbers in the wild Are their numbers improving What is the projection for the amount of time the species has left on the planet?

What are the efforts to save your species? What is being done to save your species? Are there any governments doing anything to protect it? If so, what are they doing? Are there any organizations working to save your species? If so, what are they doing? Show us pictures of: *your species being saved *the logo or emblem of the organization or government agency that is helping your species

What can we do to help? Is there anything that we can do to help? The world will be less awesome if your species leaves it forever. Tell us all the things we can do to help make sure this world stays a biodiverse as possible. Give us a website where we can go if we want to find out information about helping out your species more. Show us pictures of what your talking about.

Work cited page Give me a list of the websites were you got information. I should be able to cut and paste each website into a browser and it take me right to the info you used. DO NOT USE WIKIPEDIA! Anyone can write on Wikipedia. They can write misinformation or lies. Also, give me a list of any books, magazines, etc. that you used to get information. I want you to put your favorite picture of your species on this page. In one picture, make us understand why you think this species is worth saving.
