The Story of Little Joe Bunny

Bunny Joe was out exploring the world with his friend the sparrow. Bunny Joe had never been anywhere, it was his first day out.

Bunny Joe was bouncing ahead of the sparrow… When What’s that? Oh it’s so cold! It’s a stream. Streams are cold. Splash!! touch That’s what you feel when you’re using your sense of touch!!

CRACK!! What’s that? Oh no! I broke something! It’s a branch! It sounded so loud! hearing That’s what happens when you’re using your sense of hearing!!

Let’s eat! Mmm! This is sweet! What’s that? May I take one too? It’s an apple. Try one. Yummy! This is good. Thanks. taste That’s what you can feel when you’re using your sense of taste!!

It’s so cute all red with little black spots all over. Hey sparrow! What’s this? It looks so tiny. Good Bunny! sight When you use your eyes like that, you’re using your sense of sight!! That’s a little ladybird! It’s a little insect.

What’s this sparrow? The air in my nose tastes sweet. You can’t taste with your nose Bunny! That’s a red flower. When you use your nose, you smell all the things around you. It smells pretty. I like it! smell That’s just what you feel when you’re using your sense of smell!! So now you know about the senses of touch touch, hearing hearing, taste taste, sight sight, and smell smell.

Hey sparrow! I think I’m getting another sense from the world. What’s that? I have a feeling that I’m going to like this world!
