Our Naturalists The naturalists taught us about rocks. There were four naturalists and we divided our class into four groups. Mr. Jameson Mr. Szczygiel Mr. Perigo Ms. Caldwell

Mr. Szczygiel Mr. Szczygiel let us feel rocks on the bus. He can break really big rocks. He let us walk on a special hilly path to the gravel pit.

Mr. Jameson Mr. Jameson is so powerful he can smash sandstone into little pieces. Mr. Jameson is really nice.

Ms. Caldwell Ms. Caldwell helped us tell one rock from another. She could tell if there was a fossil in a rock or not. She was super nice. She helped us dig out rocks.

Mr. Perigo Mr. Perigo had big tools. He knew the names of all the rocks. He let us slide down a big rock.
