MLA Style- Polishing and finishing touches
Margins should be on default 12 pt default font Double spacing throughout entire document, but no extra space ever, even between paragraphs or after the title No bolding or underlining. The only exception to this is if you are using headings to separate sections of your paper, in which case you may bold the heading. Formatting – the appearance of a document
Your paper must have a right-aligned header which includes your last name and the page number. This will appear on every page. To accomplish this, go to INSERT, choose HEADER, and write your last name. Then, while still in the header, choose INSERT, PAGE NUMBER, TOP OF PAGE to put in a page number. (Don’t type “1”, because then it will say “1” on every page!) Header!
Heading/Title! The order for your left-aligned heading is *your full name, *your instructor’s name, *the course name, *the date in international format. The title should be centered, and the first paragraph indented. In fact, all your paragraphs should be indented!
Your last page is for Works Cited only Centered, at the top, it should say “Works Cited.” Beneath that, in MLA form, include the sources you used. They should not have annotations associated with them. Only include sources you actually used in your paper. Every source that was cited in your paper must be included. You should have a minimum of 8 sources that you actually used in your research paper. Use EasyBib to cite correctly! Make sure indents are hanging. Works Cited Page
