Job Overview Starting the day off early at the office, and getting set up for the day to come Begin diagnosing patients throughout the duration of the day, by adjusting and manipulating their back. Occasionally take X-rays to further diagnose more serious problems

Interest for Occupation My interest in this career is rooted for my passion and success in Science in mathematics courses. These difficult courses are required for this excellent career, and I have what it takes to get there I enjoy working in a social environment and helping people. Working in the comfort of my own office and socializing with fellow employees and patients is perfect.

Requirements Leaving high school I will need the listed courses in order to gain entry into UBCO English 12 Principles of Mathematics 12 or Pre-Calculus 12 (minimum 67%) Two other approved provincially examinable Grade 12 courses, including at least one Biology 12, Chemistry 12, Geology 12, or Physics 12 Chemistry 11

Undergrad I will be taking my first 4 years or undergrad at UBCO I will be taking health studies, Which is a 4 year course After using the very convenient tuition calculator on the UBC site, I calculated that it will cost me $6,823 for my first year of tuition The undergrad course for Health Studies Runs for a duration of 4 years

Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College I will be attending the (CMCC) in Toronto For a duration of 4 years while completing my undergrad Estimated tuition and fees for the four year program is $85,000, books and supplies $3,000, and annual living expenses $12,000

Salary and future outlook I expect to be making roughly $23 per hour which works out to be about $140,000 per year I can potentially be making $160,000 per year It is anticipated that chiropractors will be in high demand in the future years

Work conditions Chiropractors work full time (40 hours/week) and often longer. There is practically no risk of injury. The only case would be improper use of X-ray machines I would work at wherever I have established an office There is a possibility of working with a partner who I share an office with. I would also work with a secretary The work conditions would be comfortable but busy
