The Judicial Institute for Scotland has established the Judicial Hub as the new learning and communication platform for judges in Scotland. According to the application of the Judicial Institute the main features of the Judicial Hub are that it:  Provides a digital platform to improve mutual knowledge and excange of best practices in the area of justice;  Provides an efficient means of delivering electronic resources and learning intervention to the Judiciary;  Streamlines operational business processes across the Judicial Institute;  Provides clear, measurable and practically aplicable learning statistics to improve future judicial education; and  Provides a platform from wich to develop blended and learning for the Scottich judiciary.

The Jury of the Crystal of Justice Prize has chosen to award the Crystal Scales to the Judicial Institute for Scotland due to the following qualities of its Judicial Hub project:  Innovativity Integrated learning and communications channel  Efficiency Learning Management System, Judicial eLibrary  Usefulness: Up to date information, guidance and directions On line user support  Accessibility Accesible information globally on any device
