How To Make A Tie Die T-Shirt By: Indira Jankiram

Materials Plain White T-shirt Tie die kit (Rubber bands, Tie die bottles, plastic gloves) Bucket (1 foot tall) Plastic cup Half gallon water Plastic Wrap

Step 1: Take a plain white t-shirt and soak it in half gallon water.

Step 2: Take T-shirt out of bucket and squeeze out any excess water.

Step 3: Flatten out T-shirt on to plastic wrap.

Step 4: Take a medium sized clump of t-shirt, and tie it with a rubber band.

Step 5: Keep repeating the process until most of t-shirt is filled with clumps of rubber bands.

Step 6: Take bottle of tie dye, and add water in bottle until bottle is almost full.

Step 7: Start tie dying anywhere on t-shirt until t-shirt is fully colored.

Step 8: Wrap t-shirt in plastic wrap for drying (about 24 hours).

Step 9: When done drying unwrap shirt and remove rubber bands and there you have it a tie dye t-shirt!
