BREVITY n. Briefness or conciseness in speech or writing

When time is short, BREVITY is a virtue.

CONCISE adj. Using few words in speaking and writing.

A CONCISE explanation is preferable to a long-winded one.

QUIESCENT Adj. Quiet; still; inactive

…quiescent …NOT quiescent

LACONIC adj. Choosing to use few words in speech “I’ll be back!”

PITHY adj. Brief and full of meaning and substance; concise
