Came in 1870’s Remove sap from trees Want to protect and reserve their rainforest.

They build furniture & other stuff to make money. They want to clear-cut patches of rainforest to make beautiful wood. They keep cutting down trees even though its bad for the economy.

Came in 1970’s Sell food for the world, like beef & make hamburgers. Cattle ranchers want to clear positions & make them grasslands, because it’s a good benefit for them.

Rubber tappers, think its best to protect the rainforest because it can protect the environment and animals. Loggers, think its best to cut down trees because they make money from it by making furniture.
