Welcome Back To School! We are excited to meet our students and look forward to an exciting year filled with learning ! We appreciate your support to actively encourage your child’s education. Please do the following to help support your child: Provide your child with the necessary supplies. They will need paper and pencil every day. Read your child’s agenda. Encourage excellent attendance. Support excellent citizenship, behavior, manners and attitude. Encourage excellent study habits Support your child’s efforts to complete and turn in homework.

Absences Please send a note or Doctor’s excuse when your child is absent from school. Tardies Our school day begins at 7:55 and ends at 2:55. It is very important to have your child here on time!

Grading policy in Language, Math, Science, and SS subjects:  Daily: 50%  Tests: 50% Grading policy in Reading  Daily: 45%  Tests: 45%  AR Projects: 10% Don’t forget to check Infinite Campus Parent Portal! Our team updates our grade books weekly!

Every student will need to rent a locker for their book bags, PE clothes, and band instruments. Lockers cost $5. If your child loses their lock it is $8 to replace the lock. We have 2 locker breaks a day. 1 st break is during breakfast 2 nd break is before Connections.

 Students are allowed to drink water, Gatorade, or 100% fruit juice in class. Drinks must be in a container that has a sealed top! Students may purchase these items from the drink machine for $1.  Students may purchase snacks from our team twice a day at 10 am and 1:30 pm.  Students may purchase snacks from our snack cart for 50¢ or $1 We will also be selling pencils and erasers for 25 c and paper for a penny.
