Creating a Power Point My Community By Mrs. Armentrout

Creating a Power Point First go to your start emblem at the bottom left-hand corner and click to view the list of All Programs.

Creating a Power Point Find the program that says Microsoft Office, click on it. Next click on the program that says Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007.

Creating a Power Point You are ready to begin. This is what your 1 st slide will look like. Add your title and where it says subtitle tell the name of your community and names of people in your group.

Creating a Power Point To add a slide, click on the at the top left where you see New Slide. After you finish each slide click on save.

Creating a Power Point Next, click on Desktop under favorites to place your documents on the desktop of the computer. It will make it easy to access. Then type your name where it says File Name. You can put the first names of everybody in your group or give your group a name. Click Save. It will be on the Desktop the next time you need to work on your project.

Creating a Power Point To add pictures, click on the internet. You will see the Google homepage. Click on Images.

Creating a Power Point Type in the name of the image or picture you are looking for and press the search button- the magnifying glass. Your images will appear in jpeg(smaller) form.

Creating a Power Point Next, find the image you want, right click and then left click copy image. Then click on your start again and select all programs. Click on Microsoft Word

Creating a Power Point Finally, paste your picture on the blank sheet. Right click, paste will appear. Left click, your picture will appear on the sheet. Continue until you are finished with your pictures. Then “copy” and “paste” them on your power point.

Creating a Power Point Don’t forget to save your pictures with your group’s name on it and put them on the desk top. Always press save before you x out or you will lose what you have worked on.
