 General Chemistry I: CHM 101 and CHM 102  General Chemistry II: CHM 112 and CHM 114  Routes you can take for organic chemistry: ◦ Intro Organic Chemistry with lab and Biochemistry: CHM 124 and CHM 126 in addition to BCH 311 OR ◦ Organic Chemsitry I and II with lab: CHM 227, CHM 228 and CHM 226 ◦ I recommend getting your chemistry course load done as soon as you can, that way you can devote the latter part of your college career to taking fun marine biology classes!

 You must fulfill the lab course requirement! ◦ Take AT LEAST 2 courses from either the Marine Bio Cores or Electives that have labs.  You may use UP TO 3 credits of independent research/study toward the major  You need 120 credits to graduate…that means you should take at least 15 credits/semester to graduate on time!  You will have room for free electives, so utilize to take classes that interest and you and to get a minor (only 18 credits!)
