Meetings with EDB November 2014: The Chairman, together with five exco members, lunched and discussed with Mr. Yeung Yun Hung JP, Under Secretary for Education, regarding different issues arising from the continuous drop in S.1 intake December 2014: The Chairman attended a consultation meeting regarding School Development and Accountability held by the Quality Assurance Inspection Section of the EDB January 2015: The Chairman attended a breakfast meeting with the Secretary for Education Mr. Eddie Ng Hak-kim, SBS, JP, relevant to education issues addressed in the Policy Address. Meetings with EDB 5.49 January 2015: The Chairman, together with vice- chairman, 3 EC members & principals of some member schools, attended a meeting with Mr. YEUNG Yun-hung, Kevin, JP Under Secretary for Education, arranged by HKSSSC. In the meeting, matters arising from decrease in the number of classes due to the drop in S.1 intake were discussed January 2015: The Chairman was invited to a dinner party initiated by Mrs TSE LING Kit-ching, Cherry, JP Permanent Secretary for Education. Meetings with EDB January 2015: The Chairman attended a meeting convened by the EDB, regarding the education- related initiatives addressed in the 2015 Policy Address reiterated by Mr. Ng Kak-kim, SBS, JP, Secretary for Education January 2015: The Chairman attended a meeting convened by the IT section of the EDB, regarding the Funding for the Forth strategy on IT in Education and statistics on photo-copying and scanning at schools January 2015: The Chairman attended a meeting convened by the EDB and Hong Kong Hong Kong Reprographic Rights Licensing Society (HKRRLS). Meetings with EDB January 2015: The Chairman attended a meeting convened by the Advisory Committee on Anti-drug Measures in School Setting of the EDB February 2015: The Chairman attended a SCITE meeting held by the Committee of Professional Development of Teachers and Principals of the EDB February 2015: The Chairman was invited to lunch with the Deputy Secretary for Education, Dr. Catherine KK Chan. Meetings with EDB March 2015: The Chairman, together with all the exco-members, met the Secretary for Education, Mr. Ng Kak-kim, SBS, JP, Permanent Secretary for Education, Mrs. Lai Chan Chi Kuen, Marion, JP and her subordinates May 2015: The Chairman attended a PLM 334 meeting held by EDB June 2015: The Chairman, together with several exco members, discussed different issues with Mrs. Hong Chan Tsui Wah, Deputy Secretary for Education (4), including Class Suspension, Funding Back to EDB, Resources Management of staff and Major Repair works. Meetings with EDB June 2015: The Chairman and the Joint Committee discussed different issues similar to item 5.14 above with Mrs. Hong Chan Tsui Wah, Deputy Secretary for Education (4) June 2015: The Chairman attended a consultation meeting held by the EDB, relevant to calculation of Manpower of Laboratory Technicians June 2015: The Chairman attended an evaluation meeting regarding Principalship Portfolio held by EDB June 2015: The Chairman attended a meeting co- organized by EDB and Hong Kong Reprographic Rights Licensing Society (HKRRLS). Meetings with EDB July 2015: The Chairman met Ms Wong Hok-ling Jessie, Deputy Secretary for Education (2), regarding S1 placement July 2015: The Chairman attended an interim evaluation meeting regarding NSS held by EDB July 2015: The Chairman attended a consultation meeting regarding Teacher Registration held by EDB July 2015: The Chairman attended a meeting regarding the retirement age of teachers held by EDB August 2015: The Chairman attended a meeting held by the HKRRLS and EDB. Meetings with EDB August 2015: The Chairman attended a meeting held by the HKRRLS of EDB September 2015: The Chairman met Mr. Ng Hak-kim, SBS, JP, Secretary for Education regarding the incident of lead in drinking water October 2015: The Chairman visited the military sites in Zhuang Shan, China with EDB official October 2015: The Chairman attended a Special Education meeting October 2015: The Chairman attended a PLM 334 meeting of NSS organized by EDB.
