Hydroponics Team: Nadia Tate-Maloney, Natassia Russel, Tyler Reddick, Isaiah Branch, Alycia Fraticelli

Purpose: give students the opportunity to learn and practice the art of plant cultivation and management Lets students find their own particular passion within the class and focus / learn more on that specialty Students tie their particular interest and project's to their future careers Give plants and food they grow back to the culinary program

 Cleaning up and adding to the Rogers Zen Garden  Planting and replanting a variety of flowers and vegetables around the school  Raking and pulling dead weeds from around the school  Watering plants around the school  Inside planting of vegetables, herbs, and flowers (hydroponics)  Maintenance of rain gardens  Planning for greening of the school

Testing the way flowers and herbs grow inside compared to outside Students take care of a inside garden and maintain its environment Feed and water the plants Observe and record their growth Goal:  to get the herbs to grow at least inches high  give the vegetables that grow to the culinary diner or nursing homes
