Why Rowing? I began rowing here at WAC last year and fell in love with the sport. I also have a family history in the sport. It is the oldest collegiate sport in America. There are many different components to the sport that allow for lots of research and information to be learned.

Objectives Use programs and skills learned in class that I can later use in the work force. Learn more about the history of the sport of rowing and share it with others. Create an interesting project.

Problems in Creating my Project It was difficult to find an applet to match my topic. Also installing the applet was difficult for me. The organization of many different components into one final project. The excel sheet charts.

What I Learned While Doing This Project… How to use computer programs such as word, excel, and power point past the basic steps. How to write java script. More about the history of rowing. Organization in creating a project with many smaller components.
