Work in groups, discuss the following questions and then share your answers with the whole class. Lead-in 1. How do you usually plan your holidays? 2. What do you often do during your holidays? 3. With whom do you prefer to spend your holiday, your parents or your friends? why? 4. Have you ever got holiday blues? Why or why not?

Watching and Discussing Now watch two video clips. After that work in groups of 4 and have a discussion. Then finish the following tasks. Video 1 Task 1 for video 1: Group Discussion In this movie clip the Stewart family and Harry and his daughter Michelle are ready to have their Thanksgiving dinner. Group members work together, discuss the movie clip and retell what happens before and after the dinner. Then one student from your group comes to the front to give a presentation.

Task 2 for video 1: Group Discussion Before having the dinner, each of the people around the table gives thanks in his own way. Your Task: Group members work together, recall what they say as their thanksgiving and complete the following sentences according to what you have heard.
