Dispensational Premillennialism

Define one more term: “Elect” Matthew 24:22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. Compare: Rom 11:7, 11:28, and I Peter 1:1 Refers to those whom God sealed and chosen, regardless of Jews or gentiles.

Dispensational Premillennialism view Christ’s imminent coming is speaking of the Rapture Rapture is for believers in Christ Church age ends before Tribulation, and Rapture occurs before Tribulation At that time, there will be the Judgment Seat of Christ (judgment upon believers) – II Cor. 5:10, I Cor. 4:5 Rapture is a separate event from Christ physical return

Some References Matt 24:36-42 – as of days of Norah… two in the field, one be taken, the other left… Matt 25:1-13 – parable of 10 virgins; 5 ready, 5 not (shut out) Rev. 3:10 – to Sardis, because you’ve kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. Rev. 4 onward – there’s no mentioning of the word ‘Church’ I Th. 4:9/Rom 5:9 – God does not appoint us to Wrath. Compare w/ Rev 6:16,17; 11:18; 15:1; 16:4-7, etc.
