The Key Club Pledge I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school and community; to serve my nation and God; and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.

REMEMBER! You need AT LEAST 10 physical hours by the end of the semester!! The only way to earn your credit for Key Club volunteer hours and social credits is to volunteer at/attend events offered by our Key Club!

1.Check out a UNICEF box after the meeting! 2.Fill that box ¾ of the way full with coins and bills! 3.Once the box is full you can… a. Bring the money back and fill up again b. Return the box and your money You can drop off your money BEFORE SCHOOL AND AFTER SCHOOL EVERYDAY to Mrs. Vanmiddendorp in the Freshman English Hallway IF YOU LOOSE YOUR BOX OR FAIL TO RETURN IT BY OCTOBER 31 ST, IT IS A $5 FEE. IF YOU FAIL TO PAY THIS FEE, YOU WILL BE PLACED ON THE FINES AND FEES LIST DUE TODAY!

PUMPKIN SMASH FOR UNICEF Our second annual pumpkin smash will be TOMORROW Thursday, November 5 th after tutoring time (3:10). We provide the bats. We had a blast last year! Earn a social credit and donation hour! We have around 150 pumpkins! Each Pumpkin will be $2, donated to UNICEF. Non-Key Club Members can smash too, so tell your friends!!

Donation Drives Item Drive We will be collecting one yard of fleece. Pattern doesn’t matter as long as its school appropriate! We are going to make blankets for hospital patients. 1 yard is 1 donation! Participate in Donation opportunities for donation hours (up to 5). Wear your Key Club Shirt! (instead of wed.) Thank the Kiwanians at their meeting with gifts! Donation Speed Round! How much can we collect for Eliminate in 60sec? Do at least one act of kindness (surprise sticky notes, thanking the custodians, etc.) Teacher appreciation Write a letter to our Salyards Builders Club members and cheer them on! A letter from the “Big kids” is great motivation! (bring it to the next meeting!) Show your K in every way Kudos to the Key players Dare to Care Random Acts of Kindness Connect the Ks Our Version!!

Do you have volunteer hours outside of Key Club? You should work towards… The Presidential Volunteer Service Award! Go to presidentialserviceawards.org and make an account and track your hours throughout the entire calendar year! You can include your Key Club hours as well as any outside hours. We will give you more information as the semester comes to an end!
