Introduction Of the three Mesoamerican civilizations studied in this unit, the Mayan had the most important achievements. I will be presenting three of there greatest achievements : the solar year, weaving,and written language.

The Mayan solar year is one of there greatest achievements because of how precise it was when they had very simple tonics like looking through forked sticks to track the stars. This then helped them make a good solar calendar. Evidence #1

Evidence #2 Weaving also is a very important achievement the Mayans made because the descendents of the Mayan still use similar techniques and designs to day. As well as how complex and colorful the cloth was. They also embroidered tunics called huipiles and traded the they made cloth.

Evidence #3 Last but diffidently not least there writing system was amazing the could write down any thing in the spoken language, and they had a lot of dialects they spoke.

conclusion Between the three Mesoamerican people we learned about in this unit the Mayan had the biggest achievements. Today I have shown three of there biggest achievements the soar year, weaving, and the writing system.
