What does this mean?

What is Progressivism?! Reform movements that sought to raise living standards and correct wrongs in American society. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

How did American’s benefit from Progressive reforms? THIS IS THE IMPORTANT QUESTION OF THE UNIT!!!

The youngest president... Although he had been vice president under McKinley, Roosevelt did not share McKinley’s conservative, pro-business policies. Instead, Roosevelt advanced aggressive political reforms, including the heavy regulation of business.

Continued... Known as the “Trust Buster” HE STARTED THE REGULATION OF MONOPOLIES! His reforms greatly influenced economic, environmental, and international affairs as well.
