The Colosseum By Jacob Kissel

When was the colosseum built? The colosseum’ construction s started in 70 AD and was completed in in 80 AD.

What kind of Events took place their? The events that took there were water battles, combat, chariot races, archery matches, and last gladiators would fight wild animals.

What are some Gladiators names? Some gladiators names are Verus, Priscus, Spartacus, Hermes, and Triumphs.

What are there weapons and defense Gladiators weapons are spears, swords, nets, different shaped shields, and a helmet and metal shoulder piece.

What kind of training did gladiator's take? The training gladiators took were they did not use real weapons because it would be to dangerous for the staff and school. When a new recruit comes a doctor checks them for any medical problems. When also a new recruit comes they are refereed to nonviolence.

Who were some Emperors at the time? Some emperors at the time are Nero, Titus, Vespasian, Commodus, Domitian, and Carinus.
