The park is ours for the day! If teachers would like to be in the park beyond the scheduled Field Day times, it is at the teacher’s discretion. Bring a WATER BOTTLE from home. Bring an extra pair of shorts and t shirt- it’s going to be hot! Apply sunscreen at home. Students can apply sunscreen to themselves, but please note: teachers are not allowed to apply sunscreen for the students. If a student is sensitive to heat, has bad allergies or asthma that can be triggered by heat, please communicate with the student’s teacher and/or the school nurse.

 Students will eat lunch at their normally scheduled times in the piazza.  Pizza will be provided for all volunteers.

 Students can wear shorts and T shirts.  Shorts must be knee length.  No tank tops or spaghetti straps.  Sneakers only, no flip flops or open toe shoes.  Faculty and staff can also wear shorts and T shirts. And tutus are cool too.

 Students will use the bathrooms near the main office.  All students must be accompanied to the bathrooms.  There will be a volunteer monitoring the entrance way and bathroom area, but students must still be accompanied.

 All students must have a permission slip to participate in field day.  Teachers will collect the permission slips and confirm the number of students participating.  Permission slips will remain with the classroom teachers.

 Have a good Attitude and be ready to have fun!  Respect each other and the equipment.  Be Responsible and stay with your class.  Give us reason to Trust you!  Safety first! Be safe!

 Volunteers need to check in with their child’s classroom teacher or homeroom teacher when they arrive.  Morning volunteers should arrive at 7:15 for set up.  Afternoon volunteers should be prepared to stay until 2:45 for clean up.

 We have 100 D.O.G.S. and PTO volunteers coming to support field day.  Parking will be available in our parking lot, on the streets surrounding the school and in the gravel lot adjacent to Dillon Stadium.  Valet parking is not available.
