Role of ASEAN as a facilitator Active regional platform and mechanism Risk management under socio-economic dynamic Multilevel and cross-boarder dialogue on HIA movement and/or policy making Involvement of multi-stakeholders including private sector, investors, cooperate companies HIA should be brought up to ASEAN declaration, not necessary to led by MoH, so cross sectoral action can be happened – providing enabling environment. The Declaration show how important HIA for ASEAN. HIA can help identify vulnerable people affected by land use, urbanization, industrialization and climate change. HIA can integrate the 3 pillars of sustainable development Use HIA to produce the better baseline of the ASEAN blue print.

Explore effective tools such as HIA, health surveillance, epidemiology for risk management, future mobility, adaptation to climate change CHIA : learning and sharing among ASEAN community to cope with transboundary impacts To get political commitment it can be a joint statement from Member state Capacity building on HIA methodologies is a basis to inform national Minister and create a large group of HIA practitioners HIA should not only focus at a project level, but also a planning and policy level.
