Welcome to the Community Service Club  There are charts that need to be filled! Get as many sticky notes as you want and write your ideas.  What made you show up?  What difference do you want to make?  What is positivity?  What does “Community Service” mean to you?

Why are we here?  We believe that:  Positivity is powerful.  You can make a difference.  In the lives of people  In our school  In our community  In our world

Tanner’s Vision  Be a friend.  Be positive.  Smile.  Make others smile.  Be generous.  Be kind.  Be silly.  Make a difference in the world.

Where do I fit in this?  You can make a difference because:  You walk these halls and see the needs.  You are here because you care.  You have ideas that are valuable.  You are willing to be positive.  You are powerful in this community.

What does it mean to be “Student Lead”?  You are the ones that have the vision.  You are the ones that see the needs.  You are the ones that have ideas to meet the needs.  You are the ones who do the work.  You are the ones who get to own the change in the community.

Community Service Form  If you have a device (tablet, cell phone, etc.), go to moodle and search “Ludwig”  At the top of the page, click on Community Service Project form.  Fill out the form  If you don’t have a device, borrow one when someone is finished or visit my moodle page later and submit it when you can.

Next Steps…  Ms. Ludwig will look through responses from forms and will set up our next meeting.  In the meantime…  Welcome new students and sit with them at lunch.  Use positivity to lift spirits of a person that is down.  Look for opportunities to focus the club.  Ms. Ludwig with your stories.  Tweet with the hashtag #RAK #bemoredog  Get your friends involved.  Make posters to get the word out. Be creative. Bring posters to Ms. Ludwig’s room C116
