The Guiding Map

Arlington National Cemetery ► ► To all that died in the past wars, this is your sanctuary, your home.

F.D Roosevelt Memorial ► ► In honor of the late president, this statue of FDR was created so we would not only remember him, but cherish him as well.

Jefferson Memorial ► A monument, to Thomas Jefferson, whose words were wise, and direction was impressing to all.

Lincoln Memorial ► ► On a chair he sits, looking over this great country of ours. He takes in our mistakes and our triumphs.

Vietnam Wall ► Everyone missing, hopeless, even some found. The names of our soldiers, in every sense of the word. Their names lie on this wall

Korean Memorial ► ► We remember those in the many Wars we had, they served us well, they kept us safe.

White House ► It the home of our past and present leader. It is a staple in our countries legacy, it will remain forever.

Capitol ► The Senate and the House have been meeting here for more than two centuries, Capitol represents the democarcy our country thrives to have.

Supreme Court ► Much happens here, cases, hearings, and meeting. Without it, the country would have less power.

National Archives ► Our history, we keep it locked for safe keeping. Still we can see it, but now it’s safe.

Washington Monument ► ► This piece of history cost not even $90,000 to build, but it was a great investment at that. Standing 555’ 5 1/8” tall, and offering views in excess of thirty miles.

WW|| Memorial ► To those who sacrificed there live to keep us safe, we thank you with this memorial.

Smithsonian Institute ► The Smithsonian Institution, the world's largest museum, it holds history from all over the world.

Smithsonian Natural History Museum: ► ► For the young minds who wan to lean about our past, the best way to start is in the now…
