Licking County Players Theater A theater where everyone volunteers and great productions come out.

Licking county players is an amazing place where both adults and children are able to share their passion for the theater. To keep the theater alive and to provide the enjoyment of live productions, we are hosting a Donation Festival!!!

We are asking for two things to help us make this festival a success!!!!. Donations: We are thankful for anything you are able to give!!!!!. Volunteers: We need as many as possible for jobs such as: cleanup, light technicians and box office runners!. Refreshments will be provided at no cost!

Have Kids or Teens? Well then this festival is for you!!! We have tours of the theater, theater makeup classes, acting classes, and costumes for sale! Your kids will be begging you to stay!

1. How important are the performing arts to you? Everyone thought that the performing arts were important to some degree. 2. How important is it to you that the Licking County Players Theater offers a youth drama program? The LCP youth drama program was important or very important to 95% of the people surveyed. Therefore, it should be supported in some way.

3. Would you care if the Licking County Players Theater shut down? Nobody definitely wanted to see the LCP close. The LCP has some level of importance to everyone in the community. 4. Would you be willing to support the Licking County Players financially or by volunteering your time? People would rather give of their time than money. No one was willing to commit to only donating money. Only 15% were willing to consider or commit both to volunteering and financial support. 5. If you did volunteer, how much of your time would you offer? Most people were willing to donate their time once a week or once a month but not everyday.

85% of people felt it was very important to have a youth drama program. 35% of people were not willing to make a financial commitment. 80% of people felt that the performing arts were important to them. 65% would happily sacrifice their time on a daily or weekly basis to see the continued success of the LCP! Survey Summary

Licking County Players (LCP) is a theater where kids and adults alike can share their passion for the theater. In order to keep this awesome place up and running, it needs volunteers and financial aid. It’s a place to get creative, and we want to share that with you. So, come to LCP from 2:00pm-5:00pm September 30 th to see what it’s all about in our super fun Donation Festival! LCP is located on 131 West Main Street, Newark, Ohio. Admission is $5. Once inside, everything is free except for raffle tickets and costume purchases! Donations are welcome so that LCP can continue to provide its creativity and fun. If you’d like to volunteer your time, there will be signup sheets to volunteer for different jobs like light technician, cleanup, costumes, and box office runner. Refreshments will be served for free! There will be tours of the theater, every 30 minutes starting at 2 o’clock. Fun acting classes for kids will be provided from 2:30pm-3:00pm, 3:30pm-4:00pm, and 4:30pm-5:00pm. “Theater makeup” classes will also be every half an hour starting at 2 o’ clock. Crazy looks such as zombies, ghosts, princesses and even your basic theater makeup will be taught. There will be raffle tickets on sale, $15 each. Prizes will be given at 4:45pm. The winner will receive season tickets to the next wonderful season at LCP. Crazy and cool costumes from past productions that LCP has put on will also be for sale! All proceeds will go to keeping this amazing theater up and running. If you want to enjoy a fun theater filled day, then come to the Donation Festival!
