Mission Statement The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. Phi Theta Kappa's mission is two-fold: Recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and; Provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.

Foundation of My Passion (On this slide I discuss that before we begin pursuing our own personal frontiers using Phi Theta Kappa programs and tools, we must reflect further back to the foundation of our passions. In my personal frontier toward performing physical /slapstick comedy, my foundation comes from all the values, role models - like my late-grandmother to the right - and good things I learned when I was a kid living in East Los Angeles.)

Role Models (As you can see – my role models were also pioneers – pushing their frontiers to new heights)
