Washington D.C. itinerary Wednesday, 11 May :00 AM Departure from your school aboard your luxury motorcoach. 1:15 PM Arrive in Washington and meet your tour leader at the Arlington National Cemetery. 1:30 PM Tour the Arlington National Cemetery. See the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers, the Changing of the Guards, Custis-Lee Mansion and the Kennedy Graves. 3:00 PM See the executive, judicial and legislative branches of the US government during your guided tour of Washington DC's highlights, including photo stops at the White House, the Supreme Court, Capitol Hill, the National Archives, the Washington Monument 5:30 PM Dinner at one of the restaurants in Union Station (dinner vouchers are provided). 7:00 PM Visit the Martin Luther King Memorial to see how world peace and non-violent social change can be represented. 8:30 PM See the Iwo Jima Memorial and walk along the path for a great view of the capital. 9:00 PM Departure for the hotel.

Itinerary Thursday May 12, :00 AM Breakfast and orientation at the hotel with your tour leader. 9:00 AM Departure from the hotel. 10:00 AM Discover the story of spies, intelligence operations and deceptions that changed the course of history at the Spy Museum. 12:00 PM Lunch at National Place (individual expense.) 1:00 PM Visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. >>> Exact time to be determined when the passes are picked up in the morning. >>> All activities can be moved around to accommodate this visit 3:00 PM Spend the afternoon exploring the mall. Choose between the National Art Gallery, the National Museum of American Indian, African Art Museum, National Design Museum and more! 7:30 PM Sail away aboard the Spirit of Washington for a moonlight dance cruise on the Potomac River (board the ship 30 minutes prior to departure). 10:00 PM Departure for the hotel.

Itinerary Friday May 13, :00 AM Breakfast and orientation at the hotel with your tour leader. 8:00 AM Departure from the hotel with your luggage. 10:00 AM Begin your Gettysburg Battlefield experience by watching the short film "A Birth of Freedom" narrated by Morgan Freeman, followed by the Gettysburg Cyclorama. Conclude your visit with a self-guided tour of the Museum of the American Civil War. 12:00 PM Time on your own to explore downtown Gettysburg. Enjoy the shops and the historic buildings, many dating back to pre-Civil War times (individual expense) 1:30 PM Discover the Gettysburg battlefields on your guided tour 03:30 PM Hugs and handshakes as you bid farewell to your tour leader and head back home. 08:30 PM Approximate time of arrival back at your school.

How much will it cost? $ depending on the number of participants $ depending on the number of participants - The per student rate will fluctuate based on the number of paying participants traveling. As a rule, 50$ should be sufficient spending money for a 3 day “all inclusive” program, excluding clothes shopping or big ticket items. - Jumpstreet recommends the RGP (Refund Guarantee Protection) plan to all students, as it allows them to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund (minus the cost of the plan) up to 48 hours prior to the trip’s departure. It also locks in the per student rate should a student with the RGP plan opt to cancel.

Optional cost: Refund Guarantee Protection The Refund Guarantee Protection is available to groups of 30+ paying participants. This is not an insurance product. The RGP is EXCLUSIVE to Jumpstreet and offers complete trip cancellation for any reason, at any time! The rule is simple: you can cancel when you want. Any reason is a good reason. One condition - the RGP must be purchased and paid for by the first deposit due date. The RGP includes: Trip cancellation at any time, whatever the reason. Medical insurance. The « medical insurance » portion is contracted through Travel Guard.
