Antirrhinum majus cv. ‘Snapdragon’ Often used as a cut flower Tall heads show bright colored flowers Can be grown in flower beds using the low growing varieties Single flowers open their mouth looking like a dragon.

Astilbe Flowering plant with tall feathery heads. Flower color ranges from pink to white to purple to red. Dark green foliage is decorative but mostly grown for flowers.

Canna X generalis ‘Canna’ Mostly seen as a flower used in home gardens, but some varieties are used in flower arrangements. Foliage can be yellow, green, or dark reddish purple. Flowers can be red, pink, yellow or other bright colors.

Camillia japonica cv. ‘Common Camellia’ Very symmetrical flowers. Large shrub can reach 10 ft tall. Large glossy leaves.

Camellia sasanqua ‘Sasanqua Camellia’ Pink flowers that are less symmetrical than the common camellia. Classified as a tree or shrub. Smaller leaves than the common camellia
