Locs for Life Step I – Prepare Your Hair Grow hair before locking it Grow hair by wearing braids or interlocks before locking it (only if you want longer hair to begin your locs) Cut damaged (split ends, chemically processed) hair before locking it

Locs for Life Step II – Wash & Dry Wash your hair at least twice with a non-residue building shampoo Apply conditioner after washing, rinse your hair thoroughly to remove any traces of conditioner Sit under a hooded dryer on medium setting until your hair is completely dry
