The Five-fold Purposes of the Proverbs of King Solomon

1 st Purpose To learn= “YADA”= to become wise by gaining intelectual and experiential knowledge To learn= “YADA”= to become wise by gaining intelectual and experiential knowledge Wisdom= “KHOKHMAH”= moral skill; skill in living by high moral standards Wisdom= “KHOKHMAH”= moral skill; skill in living by high moral standards and moral instruction= “MUSAR”= moral training; living a life that produces values. and moral instruction= “MUSAR”= moral training; living a life that produces values.

The ability to DISCERN between moral options and know what is good and bad, what is truth and lie, and what is godly and evil. DECISIONS & ACTIONS REVEAL OUR VALUES & WISDOM 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct he should show his works done in the gentleness that wisdom brings.
