Community of Practice Enhancing our Vision November 9 & 10, 2011 Bangkok

What SEA Change Stands For Goal A center of excellence for the development of a culture of high quality M&E in climate change interventions in Southeast Asia. Impact Improved M&E policy and practice of climate change interventions.

Value Generation at Multiple Levels Member (Individual & Organization)

Value Generation at Multiple Levels Group Member (Individual & Organization)

Value Generation at Multiple Levels External Group Member (Individual & Organization)

The Impact of a Network Following this model the impact of a network is a function of three things:  Change in Member Outcomes  Change in Group Outcomes  Change in External Outcomes

Group Work Work in groups of three at your tables. Spend 20 minutes brainstorming changes – at each of the three levels – that we would like to see as a result of SEA Change COP activities. Write key words or short phrases on index cards that describe the most important changes at each level: – Member = Blue Cards – Group = Yellow Cards – External = Green Cards

Network Activities To achieve our full impact, network activities must be tailored to generate value at each of these three levels:  Activities to foster change in members  Activities to foster change in the group  Activities to foster external change

SEA Change Activities Governance charter developed Web-Based Platform built and maintained Listserv Webinars Annual Meetings Conference Presentations Articles Published

Visions and Actions In your threes, assign one person to each level – Member, Group, External. Using the brainstorm cards, develop a VISION for the change(s) we would like to see at your level.
