Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) – what is it and why is it needed? Definitions Monitoring = ongoing task of reviewing budgetary inputs and financed activities generates data to give feedback on implementation. Evaluation = judging results and impacts of interventions against their stated goals / baseline situation. Beef Data & Genomics Programme Aims to deliver genetic improvements in the quality of the beef herd requires a large-scale data collection system. Support based on compensation for costs incurred and income foregone. Besides Commission requirements, additional scheme indicators sought from implementing division.
