GENESIS Chapter 40 & 41 JOSEPH RESTORED I. Introduction A.Things we discovered. 1.Joseph sent to his brethren.

2.Joseph was hated by his brethren. 3.Joseph was sold by his own brothers. 4.Joseph was sold for twenty pieces of silver. 5.Brothers plotted to kill Joseph. 6.Joseph was put into the pit.

7.Joseph was raised up out of that pit. 8.Joseph obeyed his father. 9.Joseph’s father had sent him. 10.Joseph was mocked by his brethren. 11.Brothers refused to receive Joseph.

12.They took counsel to kill Joseph. 13.Joseph’s coat dripping with blood. 14. Joseph was lost sight of for many years. 15.Joseph was tempted by the world. 16.Joseph became the savior of the world.

17.Joseph was hated by his brothers. 18.Joseph had to suffer although innocent. 19.Joseph found favor in the sight of the jailer. 20.Joseph numbered with transgressors.

B.Joseph’s story to be read many times. 1.His character is to be admired. a) Genesis 39:20 (1)For the false accusation. b) Genesis 39:21-23
