Objective: Part of ‘Graduation Oriented Advising” –Reach out to UCOL students in 4 th semester of attendance to check on progress toward declaring a major: Schedule appointments with those still unsure Schedule appointments with those on probation Provide major declaration procedures to those who are ready Reduce students’ risk of being restricted from courses needed for the major because they have not declared

Pre – work: Campaign at beginning of semester Identified students: 24 + EHRs 2.0 – GPA 2.5+ GPA

Parameters used to create list: College/School:“University College” Major:“UCOL” Term of Entry:“Summer/Fall 2013” Term Enrollment:“Spring 2015”

Total Numbers: (n = 326)

Outreach strategy: Communication Plan

Outreach Strategy: Action Plans Evaluate readiness to declare Renew major exploration/decision- making activities (“homework’) Follow through with declaration
