® CASS ™ CYCLE “L” UPDATE

® CASS ™ Cycle “L”  CASS Cycle “L” required for automation discounts beginning August 1, 2007  LACS Link™ processing is a requirement under CASS Cycle “L”  DPV ™ processing is a requirement under CASS Cycle “L”

® Performance:  Full DPV (Hash Table) showed an increase in both CPU and wall clock processing  Testing with flat file DPV proved to reduce that impact significantly  DirectDPV has reduced both CPU and wall clock processing time

® Status:  30 manufactures have passed CASS ™ Cycle L Certification on multiple platforms  1 manufacture have failed certification on 2 platforms A list of CASS vendors is available at

® What’s Next? Move Update Federal Register Notice  Expect to publish this week  30-day comment period  Implementation date will be 18 months from date Federal Register Notice Published
