Definition: Role and Scope This will come up a lot… Role: Your “job” in CROWNWeb. Role defines the specific tasks that you can do. Roles include: Facility Viewers – Read only Facility Editors – Read and edit Facility Administrators – Read only and access control Scope: Scope controls the facilities where you can perform your role (tasks you can do).

Background Information Things to know before you get started: When you first login, you need to view and verify your facility information to ensure the conversion into CROWNWeb was complete and correct, including: Facility Name and Address DBA information Phone and FAX Numbers Backup Facility CCN and DBA Name Isolation Stations and Total # of Stations Days and hours of operation.

Logging In to CROWNWeb 1. Launch Internet Explorer and enter the CROWNWeb URL. The CROWNWeb Login screen displays Enter your Username and Password, then click Login. ab12345 ********
Click Facilities Once you have logged in to CROWNWeb, from the Home Page, click Facilities.
Facility Search The Search Facilities screen displays.
Facility Search Enter desired search criteria, and then click Search. In this example, we are searching for facilities in the area code.
Advanced Facility Search You can also click Advanced Search to view the Advanced Search screen.
Facility Search Results CROWNWeb displays a list of facilities that met the criteria. This includes all facilities (whether you have scope over them or not).
Facility Search Results Click the CROWN Fac ID for the facility you wish to view.
Facility Details (Submitted) Top The Facility Details screen displays the current information for the selected facility. If you see the Edit link in the left column, you have scope over this facility and can edit the facility details.
Facility Details (Submitted) Middle The center of the Facility Details screen lists information on the Primary Contact and Facility Details.
Facility Details (Submitted) Bottom The bottom of the Facility Details screen lists Services and Certification Information and the schedule of Hours and Shifts the facility operates under.
Facility Details (Submitted) Top To modify existing facility information (if you have scope), click Edit.
Edit Facility Details The Edit Facility Details screen displays. Here, we will change the area code to 727.
Edit Facility Details Once you make all needed changes, scroll to the bottom of the Edit Facility Details screen and then click Submit.
Facility Details (Submitted) The Facility Details (Submitted) screen displays. Your changes were successful.
