Performance Based Compensation

A school district governing board must adopt a performance based compensation system that includes the following elements: – Individual teacher performance As measured by the teacher’s performance classification – District and school performance – Attendance rates – Ratings of school quality by parents – Input of teachers and administrators – An appeals process Arizona Classroom Site Fund

Individual teacher performance = 33% – Overall score on the District teacher evaluation – Absences District and school performance = 67% – District-wide Performance – School-wide Performance – Teacher Websites – Attendance Rates – Rating of School Quality by Parents Madison Performance Based Compensation System

Continuing Teachers *Continuing teachers who score below a 3.0 and/or on an Improvement Plan are NOT eligible for Individual Pay for Performance.
