Accountant By: Derek

Introduction An accountant is trained in money management and use their skills to help businesses and individuals. In the future an accountant will be able to work more efficiently and accurately through the use of scanners. They will help process the money without less human effort.

What is an accountant? An accountant is a person who works with money. They could pay taxes, and they issue financial firms. They can work for many places or businesses. They also make lots of money. The average salary is $66,000

What do accountants do? “Accountants make sure that financial firms are running smoothly”(How they spend their day). Also that records are correct and “taxes are paid on time” (what they do). They also provide information to the place they work for. If things aren't right they will call a meeting to tell the companies what are wrong. Get the money into the client.

What schooling All accountants need a high school degree and at least a 2 year degree in college. This is the recommend schooling needed. The “course that it is accounting” (Schooling). You should get a masters or bachelors degree. Meanwhile in the job you should take extra technology classes. This will give you more opportunities.

What tools do accountants use? Most accountants use computers or laptops. On the computer they use different applications like Microsoft Excel. Most accountants use it because it has so many tools. Also many use calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Transition In the future an accountant will be able work more efficiently and accurately through the use of scanners that help process the money with less human effort. It will change with the newer generation changing the use of our technology. Many things would change in this field if this could come through.

New skills The news skills will be very different from the skills you needed when you didn’t use scanners. The technology will need to be in technology not the numbers side. You cant get a degree in numbers you'll have to get it in technology.

What new technology There will be very different technology in this field if this invention would come to be. The use of computers will still be there but without all the applications. The scanner will do more than half of the job. All the human would have to do is take the money to the bank.

Conclusion The job will change in many ways ranging from schooling to technology. Nobody has thought of this invention but know it has been thought about. The benefits of the job are that there’s so much less human effort to do this job. Another one is that the job will be easier to get because this world has turned into a technology world.

Glossary Client- A customer Opportunities- A chance for something Management-The manner of managing; handling, direction, or control. Technology- The term of art Invention- The act of inventing Generation- A single step in natural descent
