Supervising/co-ordinating/planning/financing child rights Policy formulation on child welfare activities Public education programmes on child welfare Donor funding of child welfare projects Co-ordinating disbursement of funds Training & qualifications for authorised officers Ensuring child best interests at refugee/IDP camps Implement int & regional obligations on children
Social services provision to children Criteria for children institutions Establish panels of persosn from whom guardiaans are selected & appointed
Director of Children Services Appointed by minister Supervising children officers Establishment of appropriate programmes for children Records & data of mgt of children services Secretariat of the Council Investigating cases of hardship against children Investigate & make reports when curt requires Assistance & accommodation for homeless children Pay attention to vulnerable children e.g. sexuallly abused, domestic violence
