Ways to reduce your carbon footprint You can start at your house by planting a tree or two Tree’s absorb carbon and use it during photosynthesis. During a 40 year period one tree will cut over 600 pounds of carbon They can even provide shade to keep your house cooler and cut your bill payments

Drive less and bike or walk more -the less you drive the less carbon you emit

Change out your light bulbs for energy efficient one’s Energy efficient light bulbs will save you money and reduce the power you use. Energy star qualified light bulbs use 75% then incandescent ones.

Replacing old windows with ENERGY STAR qualified windows will lower your energy bill by 7-15% Reduces green house emissions and it shrinks your households carbon footprint
