Peer Draft Self Analysis 12/10/2012  In a note to your Peer Reviewer(s), write the following:  Which part of your essay do you need help with? (e.g. the letter, the rationale paragraphs)  What do you need help with on that part (voice, context, commentary, etc.)  What themes, situations, etc. were you trying to convey in the rationale portion of your paper?  What grammatical issues do you need help with (comma-splices, run- ons, word choice, wordy constructions, weak verbs, etc.)  What works cited issues do you have?

Peer Revising  Trade papers, notes and yellow sheets. Read the note the author wrote on the bottom of the page.  Read their paper through once, writing all over the essay (don’t fill in the yellow sheet yet)  Ask questions at parts you don’t understand  Write suggestions for improvement  Identify parts you like or think are strong  Go back to the yellow sheet. Write your name in the “Editor’s Comments” Column & using specific language from the descriptions, give them feedback in each category. Skim over their essay as you need to in order to cite specific areas in your comments. Answer their questions on their note.
