Warm Up Answer the questions:  What type of verb is needed for DO/IO?  What type of verb is needed for PA/PN?  What questions do you ask to find DO, IO, PA, and PN?

Individual Practice – Read/Annotate Read and annotate the Oliver Stone article, “Where I Find My Heroes.” Pick out the instances of repetition, parallelism, and analogy. Annotate for tone. What message does the author try to share with the reader via the rhetorical devices? You have 10 min. When you are finished, get with your partner and share your annotations/ideas. Compare and discuss them.
