Making a Polymer

Rules!!! Hands should be clean to start Be sensible! Wash your hands afterwards!

Chemical equation Borax + white glue  Slime

Method 1. Measure 30ml water and 30 ml glue and mix in a beaker. 2. Add 2 drops of food coloring to the solution (otherwise it will be white) 3. Measure 120 ml water and put it in the cup add ½ teaspoon of borax and mix. 4. Add the glue solution into the cup of borax solution.

Mix the mixture with a stick… Then with your hands… Pull the mixture out and knead it in your hands until it feels dry. The more you knead it the less sticky it will be. Have fun Wash your hands! If you make this at home, store it in a zip bag and keep it in the fridge (otherwise it will develop mold!)
