Groton Dunstable Youth Lacrosse Parents Meeting Presentation GDYLL requires your help this season. Parents have a key part in making this season safe and fun for all. This presentation will show you what you need to do to. The leagues we play in do not keep standings and there will be no playoffs. We emphasize good competitive play over winning. (MYSLL exception) As members of US Lacrosse, we apply their code of conduct and other policies. Good sportsmanship is expected of everyone. Our spectators are asked to Respect the following rules: Spectators are only allowed on the sideline opposite the bench area. Never speak to a game official during a game. All parking and facility rules both home and away. 100% US Lacrosse membership is required by our insurance carrier. Your child must have a current membership number. GDYLL does verify these numbers. No parent is allowed near or on the field during a practice or game. GDYLL coaches are all league certified and have completed a CORI form. Parents are expected to support our coaches. Coaches are not babysitters. GDYLL Policy includes: If a player is sick or hurt, coaches are expected to stabilize the situation. This includes calling 911 if necessary. Coaches will then seek out a parent and assist his or her decisions. Coaches can not accept or agree to give any medication to a player. Parents of players with medical conditions should be present during games and practices. Parents are expected to have players arrive on time for practice and games. Players are to be picked up promptly at the end of all events. Players must wear all required lacrosse equipment during practice and games.

Groton Dunstable Youth Lacrosse Parents Meeting Presentation GDYLL requires equal play for all players who are prepared to contribute in a safe manner. Play time may be limited for the following reasons: A player misses practice. GDYLL practice policy is posted on the web. Excessive penalties. GDYLL penalty policy is posted on the web. Expulsion from a game is an automatic minimum one game suspension. No GDYLL player can play for more than one GDYLL team. The GDYLL website contains important information. Our address is Log on today and learn how to use it. It contains everything you will need to know this season. Plan on visiting the website frequently. GDYLL fundraising is necessary to cover our operating costs and to keep player fees as low as possible. We ask for your support of our GDYLL apparel sale and the year end league party. GDYLL is a group of your fellow parents who dedicate tremendous time and effort to provide the opportunity for your kids to play lacrosse. Our coaches are responsible for finding a Team Manager and Concession Staffing. Please consider spending some of your time to help out. A few hours this season would be very helpful.
