Case Exam Step 1 – brief summary of important points from case. Step 2 – what is the problem you are going to solve (one sentence). Step 3 – what ‘theories’ are you going to draw from to help you solve problem Step 4 – three possible solutions Step 5 – BEST one (and why it is)

The New Company You and five other leadership students have formed a company together. You have sorted out the organization’s purpose, mission, vision and values, drawn from Porter’s and Miles and Snow’s competitive strategies, completed a SWOT, developed your organizational structure, culture, decision- making approach, designed jobs, recruitment approaches, training schemes, performance appraisals, and established pay plans. Now you want to focus on: RECOGNIZING CONTRIBUTIONS
